Our approach to training and capacity building is driven by our commitment to build more capable, stronger and smarter individuals and institutions. And to do this, we do not expect our clients to be satisfied with some happy “Say cheese!” photos and reports; we go beyond processes and outputs and focus on producing outcomes and impact – performing individuals, accomplished teams, and successful organizations.
We do not believe in injecting skills – we have seen this fail time and again; instead, through a tailored approach and using the best practices available, we work with our clients to:

Training and capacity building of individuals with various backgrounds and characteristics is not easy and can be challenging in a number of ways; this has particularly been the case in Afghanistan where individuals of diverse gender and age groups are challenged to learn and experience unprecedented knowledge and skills. Therefore, in addition to accurate pre-capacity building assessments and careful consideration of client inputs, we rely on years of experience and lessons learned to ensure smooth and productive experience for both the beneficiaries and our training and capacity building team.
